Description

Job Title: Salesperson

Location: Various Provinces in Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Products: Introduce and promote Rikishi Compost’s organic compost products and composting solutions to potential clients, including farmers, agricultural businesses, schools, and municipalities.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify new business opportunities, actively seek out new sales leads, and maintain a database of potential customers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets and expand the customer base.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering customized composting solutions.
  • Presentations & Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients and partners, explaining the benefits of organic composting and sustainable waste management practices.
  • Field Work: Travel to various locations, including rural areas, to meet clients and demonstrate product applications.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers to improve product offerings and report market trends to management.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, contracts, and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure smooth coordination of sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in agriculture, environmental services, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • A passion for environmental sustainability and organic products.
  • Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork.

Skills:

  • Salesmanship and negotiation.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Knowledge of agriculture, composting, or organic farming is a plus.
